That wildwood flower

The promoters of the all regulating, ever snooping nanny state have given Mexican food lovers, Chinese buffet addicts, and cigar aficionados the day off while they pick on pot smokers. This time, it’s the Brits who just cannot leave well enough alone and have produced supposedly scientific studies showing that marijuana induces psychosis in some people.

Most of us would agree that proponents of big government who now control most of the so-called “first world” would stoop to any lie just to keep the lid on an innocent public preference. If they think grass causes psychosis, they should study alcohol, or Lifetime Television Network. There is a companion study showing that maryjane may be harmful to paranoid schizophrenics. If that is so, don’t share your weed with the mentally ill. Problem solved.

This bunch would not allow glaucoma patients of people getting chemotherapy to use marijuana, despite the well-known benefits. Is marijuana good for you? Of course not. There are scores of fast-food restaurants serving lots of lovely food that the sob sisters of more regulation are already cracking down on. People deserve to be left alone so long as they are not hurting others. What’s wrong with that?
