I'M NOT SURPRISED AT THE FAILURE OF THE STATE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS MATTER. I'VE BEEN FOLLOWING THIS STORY IN THE PAPER AND I HAVE A GUT FEELING THERE ARE MANY IN GOVERNMENT WHO HAVE SOMETHING TO HIDE. THIS RAISES MANY QUESTIONS, SUCH AS: IS MR. WILLIAMSON OR HIS FAMILY BEING THREATENED ? ARE THERE CRIMINALS IN THE STATE CRIME LAB? WILL GOV. MIKE BEEBE INTERVENE NOW THAT HE IS GOVERNOR? ARE THE MURDERERS CONNECTED TO PAST ADMINISTRATIONS? THE ONLY WAY THE TRUTH CAN COME OUT IS IF OUTSIDE FORCES COMPEL THE STATE TO DO IT'S JOB AND BRING THE KILLERS TO JUSTICE. ONLY THEN CAN THE WARD FAMILY HAVE SOME KIND RELIEF FOR THEIR SITUATION.
 

i have been a long time friend of the family and was the neighbor at the time of the murder and i don't think that now nor ever will there be an outcome to this story. it is just like the government to cover this story up by all their lies and deceit. those that have been close to the family and have been their for them through all this want to wish them all the luck in finding the truth behind the whole situation. we love you and support you to our fullest extent possible and i want to be the first to say if you need anything please contact me.

if someone were to burn judge patterson alive, do you think this would bring people forward about this cover-up? everyone knows he's the one behind all of this.his daughter murdered janie, and he's keeping her from facing justice. there have been several people murdered just to keep his daughter out of trouble.i think if he's taken out, this will all come out.burning him alive would really be mercifl considering what this lying bastard really deserves.
 

What do we expect in a state so corrupted that a cocaine empire is federally sanctioned to produce a president that has stepped on the bodies of coutless victims? The corruption in Arkansas and neighboring Louisiana are legendary. These people will pay eventually.
 

i saw the special on tv last night about janie ward. after the 3rd autopsy was performed it was classified as an accidental death. janie might have choked on a piece of food and died on the spot. this would explain why she fell as witnesses explained. sometimes the answer to a mystery is not as complicated as first thought. the ward family should seek a second forensic opinion from a person such as michael baden. i hope the ward family will get peace of mind some day and will come to the conclusion that janie was not really murdered violently. god bless them.
 

After watching the expose last night on the young girls' murder in Arkansaas, I fell compelled to add my two cents. I was amazed to hear what was "not" asked. An amateur could have done a better job of investigation. This was a cover up of significant magnitude.
The old judge is a criminal after the form of "Boss Hog". It is hard to blame the people of Arkansas as they are really good folks. The problem is wth the crooks that are continually elected on promises to "make things better" As far as lumping Ark. and La. in the group, don't forget Mississippi and Texas.
Also Oklahoma can throw a few people in the mix. How about Gene stipe of S.E. Okla. A crook after the heart of Huey Long. He is about to beat a rap even with the Feds. involved. Ever heard of Lyndon johnson? He had a court house burned down in West Texas to cover up some of his mis-doings, and that was in the 40's I believe.
Yes the "good ole boys" are still around and will be for awhile. Get cross ways with them, and you won't be around long. I hope justice will someday be served for Janie Ward.
 

I watch the show & it broke my heart. I used to live in leslie ARK. It really hit home when you of the family,in a nice small town you know everyone. I have a gut feeling that they all are hiding the truth. Mr. Patterson and daughter are big liers. The people were made to keep thier mouth shut,by being threated. I wish the days were like the cowboy days and shoot all the bad guys,to get it done. My good advise for the ward family,''Do not give up,keep trying.''I wish yall peace and love and God bless you both.
 

Followed the Ward's story for the several years I lived in AR. It's blatantly apparent that there has been an on-going coverup by the powerful at both local and State levels. Agree that there are many good people there. However, as natives are fond of saying, "it's a small State where everyone is family," unfortunately, this family is made of up only those who are well-connected politically and wealthy. And if you're not well-connected or wealthy, then you best keep quiet. Or move.
 

Everyone wants to beat a dead horse...Janie Wards death was an accident.
I have a good friend who was at that party when that accident happened...do you truly think that all the statements that were made to the police varied ,or that they all got together to get their story straight....please it was an accident mixed with stupid decisions afterwards that's all.

i really beleive it was murder,i had a uncle calvin ward dont know if they are kin.but its been around 25 years ago out on 62,65 toward western grove he had 3freinds,thats a joke.he was in his late 50.s
.they had bin drinking they rob him,beat him with a tire iron,and raped him.he lived like a baby for a year or so.the police said if he died due to that the would charge them with murder,they know who it was.but to this day they all live happy.so i beleive everything was covered up.and i wont hide my name.patty lemon,and i know a few who was at that party.someone needs to gets a few balls about them and come forward.thats what gives creeps there couage.
 

sorry i said i knew a few at the party,i dont no for sure,but was told of such that i do beleive it to be true.i told mr ward.it sure would be nice if they could get some peace.to the ones that where involed if the dont ask gods forgivness and take there punshment now.god might not later.its called hell in the bible.there will be no rest from the pain.you all need to come forward,the ones that did it and the ones who watched.do you no that the ones who watced are just as quilty?
 

It was not an accident any one can tell I was not even alive then but I live in the same town with the same lying people that covered up her death and we are not sure what happened but God is
 

I lived in the town of Marshall Ark. for eight years.Everyone there knows this girl was murdered and the father of the killer is a highly placed judge,layer,and mason in the county.If you had ever lived there you will know there are few more corrupt places and the police are thugs.
 

The family did obtain a second opinion, he also agreed with her choking.
 

Everyone around here (Marshall/St. Joe/ Yellville) knows Patterson daughter killed Janie. Patterson was in charge of the cover up. She was shipped off, to Fayetteville I think, to avoid the heat and public eye. Patterson is still here, practicing law, helping other people/criminals cover up their crimes. Patterson seems to be very experience and good at covering up crimes. He is still know at the nasty and heavy drinker lawyer in Marshall. The "law" around here is pretty non-existent, the good old boys systems is alive and well here. The Sherriff is not interested in doing anything. I pray the murder of Janie is brought to justice and Janie's family can find peace, but that won't happen as long as Patterson is around.
 

I know a few details about this case and would like very much to talk to someone that I could trust. But I found that the sheriff, state police , prosecutor, judge Jerry Patterson, mayor and yes not the owner of the ambulance service but the employees of the ambulance service was involved in covering it up,. I made many attempts to help this family but I don't know who to trust
I do know a few pieces to this puddle that could fill in so gaps so if any investigators want to her some truth please contact me. Also what fuñny no state police or any one has bothered to contact us and our ambulance service was the one that was supposedly broke on to. And that was missing is the ambulance report on Janie ward.And then years later the funeral home had it that is crap.And why did thepolice not ask us to indentfie the report because the report belongs to me.there also some thing about this report Jerry Patterson and some other but there's to much toput it all down. But I invite any one who want the truth beside the state police and the officials who handle this at that time to call me I will open up something that's not ask about it will fill in some gaps.I pray that the people who covered this up all of them get there just rewards I pray that Ron Ward family finally get the peace and answer s they deserve.
