The latest (dangerous) scam
This evening around 7:55, someone tried to forcibly gain entry to our residence. When I heard the noise at our front door, I asked who was outside. The answer I got was the old selling magazines for "points" to win a trip to a Mexican resort.
After TWO calls to the Little Rock police, who were generally helpful, my advice is this. Keep your doors locked and do not open them to anybody who can not clearly identify themselves. Do not let strangers inside (we didn't, thank God).
