Ameican will begin flying its' big jets into Dallas Love Field within the next few months. This will occur at the expense of some service which will be curtailed out of the existing DFW hub.
Southwest is expected to commence non-stop flights foe St. Louis and Kansas City within the next two weeks.
All of this is happening because President Bush signed a transportation bill which removes Wright Amendment restrictions of direct service to Missouri from Dallas Love. Southwest is still fighting to have Wright repealed entirely.
How any of this might alter transportation at Little Rock National Airport is unclear.
