Major Political News, for D's and R's
Big Max and the folks at the Arkansas Times blog (linked on the left column) have significant breaking news within the ranks of Arkansas Democrats. William A. Halter, a relative unknown, is polling to determine the viability of a run against Mike Beebe. Halter was involved in the Clinton administration and his bio is linked to the headline.
We also hear a strong rumbling about an opponent for Republican Asa Hutchinson. Former federal prosecutor Chuck Banks is currently in the Lite Governor's race, but is reportedly considering a run for governor. He has the creds and name recognition.
